• I was debating on this size or the one size smaller. I made the right choice. All though it does take a 40 amp breaker and number 8 wire ( same specs Rheem RTE 13 Electric Tankless Water Heater), which is a fairly good load, the hot water is instant and plentiful. We have a 1 inch incoming line and plenty of pressure, reduced down to 1/2″ within a foot of the heater. The flow through the unit is a lot and with the t-stat turned to full the water is plenty warm. It doesn’t take much of a flow to trip the unit on.We had tried a smaller unit at another location and we had to control the water flow to get substantial ‘warm’ water.

• I put Rheem RTE 9 Electric Tankless Water Heater in a small apartment and was not sure it would do the job. We have a shower, bathroom sink, kitchen sink, washer and dryer. To my surprise it works just great and is only the size of a cigar box. I can run the sink hot water full blast it it keeps up. Have not had more than one demand at a time so not sure how that is going to work. But I can say it is pretty slick.

• This little unit was installed in place of a 30 gallon tank . The 30 amp feed for the original heater was used. The #10 gauge stranded wire is good enough for the power requirements for this unit. My amp probe showed 28 to 32 amps load, whereas stranded wire thhn is good for 35 amps. Have had no over heating and unit will operate fine. Replaced circuit breaker with 40 amp 2-pole unit. Do not do this unless you are sure of your wire and connections, as #8 wire is recommended As this unit is only used for short times the wire size is fine. I am an electrician of over 40 years experience . I know of what I speak.

• Have several of them installed in my motel for about 6 month. It working for shower vanity and kitchen just fine. Never had complaints. No problems so far. Little space. Very convenient. 5 stars. I personally recommend it.

• Using Rheem RTE 9 Electric Tankless Water Heater as a whole house water heater. 2 bath. Not great for a regular bath tub water unless you turn it really low (so cal.) but works wonderfully with restricted shower head. Figure about 40 degree rise in temp on a low flow so if your water is 40 you will get a mild warm shower. Better than cold. I use it with a 50amp breaker #8. Works fine.

• After extensive research and a painfully increasing electric bill I picked this unit. My husband and I installed this ourselves, mostly because the local installers were reluctant to perform the installation. Most houses do not have the electrical capacity to operate this unit. We are VERY happy. We have clean teenagers, 2 and 1/2 have baths, 2 high efficiency clothes washers and a high efficiency dishwasher. We have hotter water than what our previous tank provided. The tank is still in line but off, just in case during winter and for when the large extended family visits. The electric bill is lower. It will probably pay for itself in 6 months.

• We’ve had Eemax EX280T2T Series Three Whole House Electric Tankless Water Heater installed for five years and it’s still pumping hot water. Like others have said, single-knob faucets are a bit more difficult to calibrate, but at full water flow (like showers or baths) it delivers the heat. The unit does make a bit of knocking noise when turning on, but it’s no louder than a knock on a door. • The Panasonic NC-EH30PC Water Boiler worked great for about 6 weeks then stopped working. Ordered another because we liked it for tea and pressed coffee. I thought we would get another soon and put in my wife’s studio.

• After using this hot pot for six months, I found black debris floating in the hot water. I checked the inside of the pot and found the black coating on the bottom faded and the small filter turned black and rusted. I used a white tissue paper to dry the bottom.

• I’ve had this pot for a little over a month, and so far, it’s working as advertised. It takes about 20 minutes to heat up a full pot to 208 degrees F. and it keeps that temperature for as long as it’s plugged in.

• i installed the emt4 with no problem just love it set heat to 125 for about 5 hrs and then had to turn it down to # 2 setting, it works very well,will recommend it to everyone.

• as represented. good instructions. mounted under kitchen sink to provide hot water for hand washing dishes (no dish washer). 4 gallons is adequate. only problem (slight).

• Great unit. Perfect for a garage washing machine.

• I was looking for a small tank that would give me small doses of warm water. I am very pleased with this and have mounted it on a wall where it is out of the way but also very close to the use points so very little hot water goes to waste.

• Does what it says it will do. Had to get some 1/2″ x 3/4″ threaded bushings to use the original copper flex lines. Wish the cord was longer.

• I could not be more pleased. I have it on a timer so it acts like a tankless water heater & heats within minutes.

• For the intended purpose and with the limitations in mind, this was an excellent choice for us to use under a kitchen sink. We wanted hot water on demand in the Kitchen but not by running water heater and circ-pump all the time..

• This is a good product. I had it professionally installed and I’m very pleased with the results. Until now, we haven’t had actual hot water at the kitchen sink without letting the hot side of the tap flow for several minutes. I’m pleased.

• My wife, with her arthritic hands, now loves me more. It’s under the sink on ten inches of hose. Required a single hose and one adapter, $10. One second to hot. Fed with the regular hot water, which took twenty seconds on full tap before. Make yer wife happy!

• Not too hard to install, took about an hour. Works very well so far, providing instant hot water to our kitchen sink. I like having the temperature dial front and center instead of hidden, as it is on other units.

• I have this installed in my dog grooming van. The unit is powered by a twist timer, and I it fully heats in about 20 min.. The full hot temp is too hot, so I lowered the setting.

• The unit works better than I expected. It was ready to use in 30 minutes. i showered at least 10 minutes and didnt run out of hot water. Nice product. Very pleased, excellent value.

• It was very easy to install and works great. I installed it in-line with main HW system and we get instant hot water. I like it so much, I ordered a second unit to install in another bathroom the same way..

• No long term experience since we just installed but so far very happy. We put it in an area where we need hot water intermittently but it is too far from the house water heater.

• This is a fine small water heater, fairly easy to install, and it produces all the hot water
  that I need. I like it a lot.
